Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Smarvia Studio (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on germanpath.com (the “Service”) in accordance with the EU GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, and the German Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz (TDDDG, formerly TTDSG).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all such technologies.
2. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies are stored on the basis of § 25 (2) Nr. 2 TDDDG (technically necessary). No consent is required.
- All other cookies (preferences, analytics, marketing) are stored only after you give consent via our cookie banner (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
3. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary — required for core features such as login, security, and remembering your cookie choices.
Preferences — remember UI choices like language or theme.
Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. Loaded only with your consent.
4. Cookies we use

_ga, _ga_* | Google LLC | Google Analytics — measures aggregated usage of the Service. IP addresses are anonymised. | 14 months | Analytics |
_vercel_* | Vercel Inc. | Vercel Analytics — basic, privacy-friendly page-view counts. No cross-site tracking. | Up to 24h | Analytics |
The list above reflects our current implementation and is updated as our infrastructure evolves. Some cookies (e.g. those set by third-party providers) may change names without notice.
5. Third-party providers and international transfers
Some analytics providers are based outside the EU/EEA (mainly the United States). We rely on:
- EU–US Data Privacy Framework certifications (where available).
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Decision 2021/914) and supplementary technical safeguards.
See our Privacy Policy § 9 for details.
6. How to manage your cookie choices
- On the Service: click the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer or clear your browser storage to reopen the consent banner.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge all provide cookie controls in their settings).
- For Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break login or other core features.
7. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no common standard for them has been finalised. We instead rely on the cookie banner choices.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are also notified via the cookie banner so you can review and adjust your consent.
